I just wanted to share some pictures of the boys...Carson, as you all may know, LOVES to eat. This kid can eat ALOT! He has started to open the refrigerator door now when he wants something. He hit the jackpot this day! The other pictures are from when Colby and Carson play "puppies". They both crawl around the house panting and barking. Then they get thirsty and need water in a bowl. Have you ever seen such cute puppies before?? Now, if I could just get the little one house broken...

Girls Weekend
Last weekend I went to Lubbock to visit my friend and college roommate, Lauren. Jeremy and Lauren planned this last year as one of my Christmas presents and I had such a good time I told Jeremy I wanted the same thing this year. So Jeremy decided to give me a long weekend this year. The students at my school were finishing their mid-term tests on Friday so I had to go to school for part of the day. I dropped the boys off at school. Colby was so excited that I was leaving because Daddy had promised him a "campout" in the living room while I was gone. I was sad to leave them, but at the same time very excited about my kid free weekend! Lauren was waiting for me when I arrived. I met Lauren my freshman year living in the dorms. She lived three doors down from me and we became friends right away. She is always so much fun and we have some great memories! My weekend was wonderful! We ate, drank, got massaged, shopped, ate and drank some more, went to a movie, drank some more....it was a great time! Thanks Lauren for being so fabulous! Also, thank you Jeremy for my weekend away. You are a great husband and father....even though you let our children eat chips and cookies for breakfast while I was gone. I love you!

Oh NO! The dreaded day has arrived!
I knew this day would come, but I had been hoping it would not come so soon. Last night I put Carson to bed in his crib and then went and tucked in Colby. Jeremy and I were watching TV in the living room when we heard a door open. We turned and looked and Carson walks out and says "No night night!" My baby climbed out of his crib! I love Carson very much, but some days I really look forward to his bedtime. Now we have to try to keep him contained in his bed somehow. Colby, on the other hand, was very proud of his little brother. He was so excited Carson learned something new! Colby tried to climb out of his crib one time and fell. He never tried to do it again. We put Colby in a big boy bed right after he turned two, but that was because we needed the crib for Carson. Colby had a very easy transition into his bed, but I am sure it will be a totally different story for our little Carson. I guess we will see how it goes the next few nights and then go shopping for another big boy bed!
